Care rituals for skin & hair: handcrafted and rooted in our radically natural philosophy

Just a few pure, effective natural products – combined into a simple routine your body understands and uses intuitively. We strengthen skin and hair instead of making them dependent. The result: resilient beauty – surprisingly effortless.

A release from pointless overconsumption – not made for profit, but made for you and the world.

Our logic: less > more

Unlike conventional natural cosmetics, our care is intentionally reduced to the essential core. No endless ingredient lists, no unclear substances. Your body intuitively understands our formulas and restores its own natural balance. Over time, you’ll need less to feel beautiful – even of our products. Promise.

Break free from overloaded skincare and the synthetic ingredients of the beauty industry. Our products are crafted with care, in small batches, from pure natural raw materials. Every formula follows the logic of nature – pure, radically reduced, and guaranteed free from synthetics, petrochemical derivatives, palm oil, plastics, and their harmful side effects. Vegan and unisex, of course..

∴ our skin care

We recommend our Trinity:

1. A natural soap tailored to your skin type: gentle cleansing + replenishing care without synthetic surfactants or additives.

2. A toner made from lavender water: balancing pH, hydrating, soothing – with no added substances.

3. A balm from plant oils matched to your current skin condition: balances existing “imbalances” with specific herbs, strengthens the skin barrier – cold-pressed and free from synthetic additives.

Next step: reduction at your pace. Our natural skincare routines are flexible – you decide how much your skin truly needs.

Reduce the Trinity gradually – in the way that feels best for you and your skin. Over time, you’ll notice a new balance, and that your skin needs almost nothing from the outside to stay beautiful.

Final Step: Switch to our nourishing deodorant – effective against odor and against pointless overconsumption under your arms.

∴ our hair care

We recommend our Trinity:

1. Natural hair soap, tailored to your hair type: cleansing + nourishing without synthetic surfactants or additives.

2. Toner made from lavender water, replacing conditioner: balances pH, adds shine and moisture – pure, with no additives. If that’s not enough, add the DIY rinse with apple cider vinegar to your routine.

3. Occasionally some hair oil: nourishment and shine for scalp and ends – no additives, just deep care with active plant oils.

The cherry on top for a smooth transition: our Hair Care E-Book.

Your hair benefits from this smart, minimal routine, delivering everything it truly needs – and leaving out the unnecessary.

Week by week, residues from conventional products are washed away: scalp and hair can breathe again. Hair returns to a resilient natural state – and, in the long run, needs little from the outside to stay healthy and beautiful.

  • We are an independent initiative

    We are an independent initiative

Since 2017, we founders have been making decisions that feel right to us.

What began as a rebellious sustainability project in Hamburg St. Pauli under the name terrorists of beauty keeps developing organically – into an honest, clear beauty initiative for everyone seeking reliable, natural care. We remain true to our anti-principles, but take them further: we turn them into pure, convincing routines for you. Our goal: more resilience in everyday life, in your own body, and in the world.

PS: Of course, we continue to work completely free from the influence of external investors and their funds!

    about us

Our radically sustainable corporate code

  • 1. Care products and soap without plastic

We package our products and natural soaps completely plastic-free – in FSC-certified cardboard with a natural fat barrier.

You won't find any microplastics, silicones, parabens, or synthetic polymers in our formulations either.

We deliberately produce only vegan natural soaps – no solid shampoos or shower bars. Why? Natural soaps do not contain synthetic surfactants. They are independent of the petroleum and plastics industries – and do not require complex laboratory technology.

By saponifying pure vegetable oils and fats with simple caustic soda, we create a manufactured product that is simple, effective, and nourishing: real natural soap.

  • 2. Skincare without palm oil

For us, sustainable natural cosmetics are always palm oil-free. This is because the global cultivation of palm oil endangers valuable rainforest areas. However, a blanket ban on palm oil is not enough for us. Many alternatives also have ecological downsides.

Which oils and fats do we use instead? Our answer: as many organic vegetable oils from European cultivation as possible – for example, organic olive oil, organic sunflower oil, or organic rapeseed oil.

With Block Zero, we've even developed a soap made from 100% raw materials grown and processed in Germany.

And if a regional oil isn't sufficient for functional reasons in a recipe? Then we pay particular attention to origin and fairness: For example, our coconut oil and shea butter come from organic and fair trade-certified cooperatives and small businesses in Africa.

  • 3. Vegan Recipes for Soap & More

Our soaps consist exclusively of vegetable oils and fats. For example, olive oil, grape seed oil, or shea butter, which are saponified with caustic soda in a careful manufacturing process.

Every recipe is naturally vegan. We maintain this commitment in all our products. We use vegan raw materials from nature. Nothing more, nothing less.

Cruelty-free? Of course. Animal testing is prohibited by law for cosmetics in the EU. Our products are therefore also compliant with the law and vegan. We used to communicate this clearly, but were legally warned because so-called "advertising with obvious facts" is prohibited in Germany. Therefore, we no longer use the term "cruelty-free" in our labeling. Even if our products are.

An official vegan label is our next step, as soon as we can afford it as a self-financed company.

And the packaging?Vegan soap in non-vegan packaging – unfortunately, not uncommon in the industry. We're different. Our packaging is completely vegan. Even in details like the glue used.

  • 4. Completely biodegradable products

Unlike many conventional cosmetic products, our natural soap is completely degraded by the environment in just a few days. This also applies to our oils, toners, and deodorants.

We care not only about the environment, but also about what happens in your body. We only work with ingredients that the human body knows, understands, and can use or break down naturally.

When showering and washing your hair outdoors, we still ask you to use soap consciously: All cleaning products—whether soap, shampoo, or shower gel—act as surfactants. From a purely chemical perspective, all of them reduce the surface tension of water and can therefore disrupt sensitive ecosystems.

Sustainability when washing in nature means: as rarely as possible, in small doses, and ideally with buckets at some distance from rivers and lakes.

  • 5. Genuine craftsmanship & natural ingredients

Our products replace many synthetically produced cosmetics with a few, carefully developed care formulas.

What we offer for your care is reduced. But uncompromising in terms of quality. That's why we handcraft our soaps using the cold-mixing process – with high-quality, nourishing plant oils. Our deodorants are poured by hand, and oils and toners are carefully bottled in a family business without any additives.

We use artisanally sourced ingredients with special effects that cannot be processed industrially in this form. Our recipes can only be realized through genuine craftsmanship and deliberately small batches.

Because good care doesn't require mass production and machines. It requires natural purity and human care.

  • 6. Social Commitment:

We see ourselves as part of the "repair economy." As a company, we want to contribute to compensating for social deficits – not just through our products, but along the entire value chain. This attitude shapes all our decisions.

Furthermore, we initiate social projects with impact: With Soap for Hope, we manufacture and sell a sustainable hand soap at cost price. For every soap sold, we donate €1 to organizations with particular social relevance.

We are also setting new standards with our deposit-based refill deodorant. As pioneers of the circular economy, we take responsibility – for the product and for the packaging.

  • 7. Organic soap, yes, but not at any price

Our products are certified as natural cosmetics according to NCS and ICADA standards. Not all of them are certified organic. Why?

Some of our smallest suppliers – often family-run – do not have the official organic seal. Certification is complex, expensive, and simply not feasible for many small producers. And if they don't have the seal, we are not allowed to label our product as "organic."

This, for us, is a flaw in the system: What is ecologically and ethically sound often remains without a seal – because it doesn't scale. Yet this commitment is precisely what is worth supporting.

That's why we have consciously decided against an organic label for some products – but clearly in favor of the good ingredients and the people behind them. We hope you understand this path.
