Moisten hands, lather a bar of soap between your palms.

Apply creamy foam to face and body, massage gently, avoiding eyes.

For washing your hair, rub the soap directly onto your hair, scalp, and beard. Lather the soap vigorously with wet hands for 30 seconds, then massage it into your hair for another 30 seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Doesn't the soap dry out the skin?

No. Block 001 is not comparable to industrially produced soaps. This handmade cleansing soap is cold-processed and contains cedarwood oil and natural glycerin, which nourishes the skin after cleansing and does not dry it out.

Does the soap have a strong smell?

We use natural essential oils to give this care soap a woody, herbaceous scent.

How long does a block of paper last?

With daily use, between 30 days and 3 months – depending on whether you also shower and wash your hair with the soap or only use it for your face.

Is bar soap hygienic to use?

Yes — we recommend a soap dish where the soap can dry completely and isn't sitting in residual water. Check out our soap holder in the Accessories category for ideal storage.

Is the packaging truly plastic-free?

Yes, we only package our soaps in minimalist cardboard boxes.

Can I combine the soap with my existing skincare products or make-up?

For best results, we recommend using our 3-step routine as is. Using too many products at once can disrupt the skin's natural balance. If you look at the ingredient lists of conventional skincare products, you'll often find complex formulas with many ingredients that overwhelm the skin rather than support it – even in natural cosmetics.

Our philosophy is the opposite: as little as possible, as pure as necessary. Give your skin space to regulate itself with a few, clear raw materials.

Of course you can still use make-up: Our balm is a very good base for make-up and in the evening the soap gently and thoroughly cleanses your skin.

Is this routine suitable for mature skin?

All our soaps strengthen the skin barrier and support natural regeneration. However, block 001, with its high activated charcoal content, may be too deep cleansing for mature skin. Therefore, we recommend one of our other soaps for very dry, mature skin.

Does the soap work on sensitive or stressed skin?

Yes, generally speaking. Pure, natural ingredients reduce irritation and give the skin time to stabilize itself. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin, we recommend testing our products first on the inside of your elbow and then on a small area of your face.

Can I remove makeup with this soap?

For makeup, we recommend first cleansing with a moistened pad onto which you apply 3-4 drops of our balm. Then follow with soap, toner 001, and, if necessary, a second application of the balm as usual.

What do the products smell like?

The fragrance comes exclusively from the natural raw materials and essential oils themselves – that's why it's gentle, authentic, and never overpowering. Our scents accompany you during application and then quickly dissipate. They are skincare with active ingredients, not perfume. Because we work with natural plant oils and harvests, fragrance nuances may vary slightly. Each batch is unique.

Production – craftsmanship instead of assembly line

We produce our products using traditional methods, not in an anonymous industrial bottling plant. Each batch is cold-stirred or cold-pressed by hand, carefully bottled, and matured for several weeks – just as genuine natural cosmetics deserve. We use only food-grade or pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, such as grapeseed oil, pure lavender hydrosol from steam distillation, sea fennel extract, and select organic oils.
