1. Personal care products and soap without plastic
Our natural soaps and care products are consistently plastic-free – from the formula to the packaging. We use FSC-certified cardboard boxes and glass bottles, and our formulas are also completely free of microplastics, silicones, parabens, and synthetic polymers.
Instead of solid shampoos or shower bars, we develop genuine natural soaps, handcrafted from pure plant oils. They cleanse without synthetic surfactants, are independent of the petroleum and plastics industries, and require no industrial laboratory technology.
This results in a handcrafted product that is simple, effective and skin-friendly: plastic-free natural soap that respects skin and hair – and the environment as well.
2. Palm oil-free skincare
For us, sustainable natural cosmetics also means: consistently palm oil-free. Because the cultivation of palm oil contributes to the destruction of valuable rainforest areas worldwide.
Our palm oil-free soaps and care products are instead based on select organic plant oils from European cultivation – such as olive oil, sunflower oil, or rapeseed oil. They are skin-friendly, effective, and environmentally sound. Our Block Zero soap is even made from 100% regional ingredients!
Where regional oils are not functionally sufficient, we work with small organic and fair trade certified cooperatives, e.g. for coconut oil or shea butter.
This is how cosmetics without palm oil are created, taking responsibility – for your skin and for the origin of its ingredients.
3. Vegan recipes for soap & care
Our natural soaps consist exclusively of vegetable oils and fats – for example, olive oil, grapeseed oil or shea butter – which are saponified using a gentle manufacturing process.
All our recipes are naturally vegan. This applies to our entire product range: We use only plant-based ingredients, without animal products or unnecessary additives.
Our packaging is also completely vegan – down to the last detail, including adhesives.
For us, vegan natural cosmetics does not mean deprivation, but clarity: a few, carefully selected raw materials that we process as gently as possible to preserve the valuable plant active ingredients for the care of your body.
4. Completely biodegradable products
Our natural soaps are completely biodegradable – as are our care oils, toners, and deodorants. They break down into natural components within a few days and do not pollute water or soil in the long term.
We work exclusively with natural ingredients that the human body recognizes, can utilize, and break down. This results in environmentally friendly cosmetics that are beneficial not only outdoors but also on the skin.
When showering and washing your hair outdoors, we ask you to be mindful of the amount of soap you use: All cleaning products – whether soap, shampoo, or shower gel – contain surfactants. These all reduce the surface tension of water and can therefore disrupt sensitive ecosystems. Sustainable washing in nature thus means: as infrequently as possible, in small amounts, and ideally using buckets at a distance from bodies of water.
5. Genuine craftsmanship & natural ingredients
Our products are truly handcrafted. Each natural soap is hand-crafted using the cold process method – from high-quality, nourishing plant oils and without synthetic additives.
Our deodorants are poured by hand, and our oils and toners are carefully bottled in small family businesses. Many of our natural ingredients are handcrafted and cannot be processed industrially.
As a soap manufacturer, we deliberately work in small batches. This is the only way to create recipes that are precise, effective, and uncompromisingly natural.
Good care doesn't require quantity. It requires time, knowledge, and care.
6. Social engagement
We see ourselves as a sustainable cosmetics brand with responsibility – for people, resources and manufacturing processes.
This attitude shapes our decisions along the entire value chain: from fair partnerships and plastic-free packaging to socially responsible manufacturing. Our products are packaged and shipped in cooperation with the Stiftung Mensch (Human Foundation) – from a workshop for people with disabilities, enabling meaningful work and participation.
With our zero-waste subscription, we ship our personal care products without unnecessary outer packaging, reducing packaging waste where it originates: in everyday life. This concept earned us a place as a finalist for the German Sustainability Award – confirmation of our commitment to not only communicating responsibility but also putting it into practice.
7. Organic soap, yes, but not at any price.
Our products are certified natural cosmetics according to recognized standards. Some carry an organic seal, others deliberately do not.
Why? Many of our smallest suppliers – often family-run – cannot afford official organic certification, even though their raw materials are ecologically and ethically sound.
For us, it's not just the seal that counts, but the quality behind it: natural ingredients, fair origin and handcrafted processing.
This is how natural cosmetics without organic certification are created, which nevertheless meet the highest standards – honest, transparent and responsible.
