5 more tips to ensure everything runs 100% smoothly for you soon!

Don't worry if everything isn't perfect yet! Many people experience an adjustment period when switching to a new soap. Depending on how dependent your body is (or was) on your previous skincare products, this process can take a few weeks. Just keep going! With these additional tips, you'll soon reach your goal:

Tip #2 body

less is more

Use only as much soap as absolutely necessary. Most dirt on our bodies is water-soluble and washes off naturally in a warm shower. This includes, for example, dust, non-oily dirt, and substances containing sugar or salt. Soap is only necessary to remove greasy dirt, which is hydrophobic (water-repellent), because soap has the chemical ability to form a bridge between water and grease.

What exactly is oily on the skin? Your body produces sebum, which naturally serves to care for and protect your skin. Washing all of this off completely with every shower is therefore counterproductive! We only recommend lathering your entire body, down to the millimeter, if you feel you have real, stubborn, and oily dirt on your skin. This can be the case if you do a lot of physical work.

Otherwise, a shower with clear water and a little soap is usually sufficient, focusing on the underarms, external genital area, feet, and hands. This not only saves money but also makes your skin healthier and more resilient, step by step.

Should your skin still be dry, use our body balm to provide some natural moisturizing support during the first few weeks. In the long term, the moisturizing properties of the soap will be sufficient.
